1. LCWU Alumni Give Back with a Green Touch - Planting Trees
for a Sustainable Future.

• Location: LCWU
• Description: The alumni of LCWU generously donated the trees
worth one lac to their alma mater. In this connection on 1 September
2023 the esteemed Alumni of Lahore College for Women University gathered
for tree plantation in LCWU.
The event was organized by LCWU and alumni which was held in Siraj-ud-Din
Committee Room. The ceremony was also graced by the worthy Vice Chancellor
Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz. In her address with the alumni she reiterated
her resolve to have more engagements with alumni and assured her full
support to the alumni of LCWU. She shared her vision behind revamping
Alumnae corner on the LCWU website. Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz said that
when this corner is properly developed and becomes interactive more
and more alumnae will come forward to participate for the progress
of their Alma Mater in terms of cash, kind and services. The event
concluded with a prayer for the progress of LCWU and Pakistan.
2. Empowering the Future: A Memorable Mentoring Session with
Esteemed Alumna Dr. Shamsa Hashmi at LCWU

• Description: A Mentoring Session was organized by Alumni Office
in collaboration with Physical Education Department of LCWU on 28
September 2023.The Chief Guest was Vice Chancellor LCWU Prof. Dr.
Shagufa Naz and Guest of Houour was Dr. Shamsa Hashmi. Dr. Hashmi
is esteemed alumnus of Physical Education department of LCWU. She
shared her success story with the currently enrolled students of Physical
Education department. In the interactive session Dr. Shamsa answered
questions asked by students. It was a memorable event and first ever
session of its kind involving distinguished alumnus.For more details

3. "Celebrating the Naseem Kousar Scholarship: Honoring
a Legacy of Education and Empowerment at LCWU

• Description: "The Naseem Kousar Scholarship Disbursement
Ceremony took place on September 28, 2023, at the Syndicate Hall of
LCWU. The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed individuals,
including Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz, Ms. Naseem Kausar
Asghar (LCWU alumna and donor), Prof. Shireen Asad (Former Director
of Student Affairs, LCWU), Ms. Bushra Nadeem (Former Director of Student
Affairs, LCWU), Mr. Abdul Ghaffar Ali (Director of University Advancement
& Financial Aid), Ms. Hina Anwar (Deputy Director of Financial
Aid), Dr. Amina Moazzam (Chairperson of the Psychology Department,
LCWU), Dr. Barira Bakhtawar (Public Relations Officer, LCWU), and
